Tunes for summer concerts

I've been working on set lists for our summer concerts. Here are three preliminary lists. You'll notice that each set ends with a golden oldie. Comments, anyone?

I like the Programs. The Golden Oldies are all good pieces to end a concert with and leave 'em wanting more.

I like 'em, too. Yeah, make the audience beg for more. Maybe we should have an "encore" in reserve. I've never played Ob-la-di, but I like it (and just about anything else by the Beatles). Some of us joined the MMO after "Ob" was retired. I suspect that will be the first song we rehearse next Monday night.

Just a suggestion - on the Harriet set list, I think Jota, Phillippino and Joropo constitute too many up-tempo latin style tunes in one program.

Perhaps we should consider doing a Latin set altogether - Phillippino, Love Notes and Joropo together as a mini-set - Love Notes is a nice slow romantic tune and sets the other two apart nicely.
