mandolin for sale

I've been corresponding with the owner of this mandolin (see photos).

From the owner: I have a mandolin that my Grandmother took lessons on in 1909. I would like to get it into the hands of someone who would appreciate it. I recently took it to Hoffman's on Franklin and was told it is in excellent condition.  It has been in its case since 1911 or so.  Charlie Hoffman thought it might be worth $350, but ultimately I understand it is worth whatever someone is willing to pay (which might be much less). The most important thing to me is that it goes to someone who will appreciate it.

If you're interested in this mandolin, write to me or comment here and I'll get you connected with the owner.

ToneRite promotion

A representative from ToneRite contacted Tedd and me about a ToneRite "mandolin month" promotion. If anyone has tried a ToneRite and has comments, the company would like to hear about it. Also, members of our mandolin orchestra can get a ToneRite for a discounted price of $93.13.

Please let me know if you're interested.
