scan sheet music, then listen

Jozef, our second guitarist, told me about this software. You can scan sheet music, and it will be played. Also, you can scan the sheet music of an entire orchestra, and you'll hear the whole orchestra playing. I'd love to download it, but I'm too cheap. If anyone else is interested, it's found here:

I tried the Smart Score software a few years ago when it first came out. It was a disappointment. I stopped using it because it was easier to start from scratch than to fix the mistakes in the scanning and recognition. Maybe the newer software works better.

i'll second lon's comment. scanning music can be dicey.

The software is set to scan signature size scores which are different in size than the 8.5 x ll sheets that we use. That's why it doesn't work well to scan any old sheet of photo copied music
