What a way to play the mandolin. Unreal guitarist too.
Whenever I see virtuosos playing at extreme high speed, like these guys, I enjoy it - but less as music and more as an amazing athletic feat. (This may be because I cannot play this fast.) Still, I believe that the general public prefers music at a more relaxed tempo.

I would not advise anyone to emulate this mandolinist's technique. Sounds pretty good, though, on Sugarfoot Rag.
