What a good article, thanks. I like the idea of touring the state by chartered railroad car, as did the U of M mando club.
Isn't it amazing how abundant mandolin groups once were?I constantly remind myself of what a small community we are and how fortunate I am to live in a city with a mandolin orchestra!
I have a Picture of the 1896 U of M Mandolin Club. I will put it in my Music and bring it Monday 12 April 2010.
Looking at those photos - geez, we might have to upgrade our wardrobe!
Wow, really cool! I wish I could save some of those old photos as my desktop background!
