MN Mandolin Clubs at the turn of the century

I ran across a very interesting article online about mandolin clubs in Minnesota.

I'm sure many of you have encountered it in your surfing....but in case you haven't, here it is!

I have a copy of the Spring 2001 issue of Minnesota History magazine, where Amy's article first appeared. Thanks for posting the link. I didn't know the article was available on-line.

What a good article, thanks. I like the idea of touring the state by chartered railroad car, as did the U of M mando club.

Isn't it amazing how abundant mandolin groups once were?

I constantly remind myself of what a small community we are and how fortunate I am to live in a city with a mandolin orchestra!

U of M Mandolin Club. I will put it in my Music and bring it Monday 12 April 2010.
