"The date we are looking at for the party is September 14th. Ideally, we would pay around $1500 for the right group. Female and male vocalists would be a major bonus, as well as a willingness to allow and include guests to sing for a song or two.

What kind of music are they looking for? I know a bluegrass group that might be interested. Alternatively I could potentially assemble some musician friends to play if I knew what they were looking for.

The type of music was left open, just the following constraints
- mandolins
- something that included some sing-alongs (I would assume old-time or pop or maybe gospel....)
