Brainstorming for oldies

For our summer concerts, I like to include about three numbers that everyone enjoys, and that we haven't played for a while. We had these nominees Monday:

>Jota
>Sweet Corn
>Bona Notte Mimi
>Ritual Dance
>Don Armando
>As Far as I Can See
>Loftus Jones
>La Tipica
>Nuages

Any other nominations?

Looked through my music file, and found some good oldies, especially the first three:

Ashokan farewell
As far as the eye can see
Alma Brasileira
Boston ideal march
Clark's point
Giuliano concerto
Here, there and whatever
[Indian summer, i think: title is cut off]
Knock k-nees
La Paloma (Or Paloma, La)
Reflexions
Simple gifts
Solace
Wachet auf

I didn't know the group had done Ashokan Farewell -- must have been quite a while ago. That's such a wonderful tune. I'd love to do that one.
I had heard that Ritual Dance was a huge hit last year (played during my "leave of absence" from the orchestra). It would be fun to do that one.

I love Ashokan Farewell, too, and didn't know the MMO played it! I hope it's in D! That's the key I play it in, or the guitar chord it starts on (D, D7, G, Em, and later a C?). I vote to put this at the top of our list. For those who don't know it, it's easy to learn.

I need to make some revisions to Ashokan before we play it again. It's a long shot for this summer, but a strong candidate for fall. Yes, it's in D.
